Finding Doctors and Facilities
Having Choice Products makes it easy to find doctors and facilities for your care. You can choose your provider and where to get care with the two Provider Networks.
Here’s an overview of getting care with Choice Products. In the 2 Tier Point-of-Service (POS) plan, there are two Tiers to choose from: HMO In-Network Provider Tier and Non-Participating Provider Tier.
You can switch between provider Tiers as you desire.
HMO In-Network Provider Tier
Kaiser Permanente Providers and medical offices.
- Access any Kaiser Permanente provider, affiliated hospital, or pharmacy, all within the integrated delivery system.
- There are specially selected physicians in the Kaiser Permanente network. To help you find a primary care physician who’s right for you, browse our online doctor profiles.
- You also have access to medical offices across the region. Check here for services, hours and locations of each medical center—including urgent care.
- You can visit kp.org/travel or call the away from home travel line at 1-951-268- 3900 for all of your options.

Choose any licensed provider anywhere for care.
- Through the Non-Participating Provider Tier, you can work directly with any licensed provider or facility anywhere.
- No referral is needed for office visits to Non-Participating Providers or specialists.
- Just remember that this Tier generally has the highest out-of-pocket costs.
